DescriptionI use www.ggogle.co.uk as my home page in RISC OS NetSurf. As from today's test build this no longer works. The URL is followed by a rapidly changing series of digits and never connects. This URL works as expected in Chrome on w10.

It is a Javascript thing. With Javascript NetSurf looks to get stuck within an endless hourglass on/off state requiring an alt-Break. It is attempting to connect to http:// www.google.co.uk/#pf=<number>. Disable Javascript and it is straight in.

FWIW NetSurf 3.10 (Dev CI #4720) is OK.

It also looks as if this is a RISC OS issue, I do not see the fault on a build on Ubuntu 18.04.

jmb: it is because the redirect happens before the content is complete, so it fetches forever

probably "works" on faster systems because the content completes sooner
