| Summary | 0002660: Crashes reliably with javascript and plugins disabled | ||||||||
| Description | When I go to startpage.com or terraria.gamepedia.com (only two I have really tried) the program instantly crashes when both javascript is disabled and plugins are disabled. When I enable plugins again, terraria.gamepedia.com will actually load but again crash in about 20 additional seconds. The sites seem to work fine with both enabled but I don't really want to browse the internet this way. If you turn all of these undesirables on, load the site, and then turn them back off the sites seem to work? | ||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. Turn off javascript, plugins and enable adblocker and popup blocker. 2. Try to use either mentioned website | ||||||||
| Additional Information | This was not a problem on my Arch Linux laptop which used Linux Hardened 5.0.12, I don't know if this matters and its only that outdated simply because I haven't updated in awhile. Attached is a verbose error report of what happens when I enter the terraria gamepedia link | ||||||||

I want to also mention I am unsure if this is the 4640 version bug supposedly fixed upstream from a different thread, my package manager just says netsurf is version 3.8-2 so I am just adding to the pool I guess |

It seems to work with NetSurf 3.9. Thanks for the report! |
