| Summary | 0002847: Netsurf cannot display Facebook posts with user's own comments | ||||||||||||
| Description | As of 10th April, it is no longer possible to view Facebook pages on which one has replied to a comment when using the m.facebook.com site. Immediately after the comment is posted Facebook gives an error instead of displaying the updated page, and continues to give the same error thereafter any time that you attempt to view the comment thread by any means. | ||||||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Have a Facebook account. Visit https://m.facebook.com/home.php Select a post and reply to a comment on it. | ||||||||||||
| Additional Information | If you comment directly on an image that somebody has posted rather than replying to a comment thread, then you get the same error page immediately after posting the comment, but are able to view the original image again later. It's just that the original post then shows up without *any* comments, including yours or any of the others that were previously present! | ||||||||||||

This seems to have been fixed at the Facebook end, although there are now other, presumably associated, weirdnesses. |
