0002406: HTML form with 'on submit' attribute does not appear to run Javascript

Description

The Javascript on the "Royal Guild of Spacing" page is designed to replace the page content according to which buttons are selected. Instead it unexpectedly loads the top page of the site.

Steps To Reproduce

Visit http://starfighter.acornarcade.com/mysite/guild.html
Select one of the 'skill level' buttons and click on 'Next sortie'.

Additional Information

Apparently the JS is not being executed at all and the HTML form is reporting an invalid URL, which causes it to load an unrelated page rather than simply doing nothing?
