Summary0001969: Support for eSpeak program (Jonathan Duddington GNU)
DescriptioneSpeak already provides speech support for other programs. The RISC OS interface is well defined. It is used by Pluto and StrongED.

See http://espeak.sourceforge.net/

As well as providing general access speech support to NS, it would also provide a useful checking tool for web pages, auditory checking providing additional checks of duplication, typos, grammar which existing checkers cannot detect.

NS already has the ability to select and save text: It would not be a great step to provide this text to the speech synthesiser module Speak.
