0002782: Test failure with rfc1123_date

Description

One of our arch testers reported a test failure on ppc over at https://bugs.gentoo.org/728994. The failed build log is attached as attached as build.log.xz at https://bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=647108.

The exact failure is,

I'm not sure how to reproduce this yet, but I thought you might be interested anyway. It could be a locale or endianness issue? Who knows.
