Summary | 0002637: Inability to paste or drag urls into NetSurf | ||
---|---|---|---|
Revision | 2019-07-21 12:39 by Vincent Sanders | ||
Description | This seems to be a lot worse in RISC OS 5 than in OS 6. It seems to be near impossible to drag, save or copy and paste URLs into the Open URL window (and possibly elsewhere) if the data source isn't typed as Text. Even if it is text there are still problems. For example if you save a text file onto the Open URL URL field it gets displayed in the main window as a text file, NOT in the URL bar where it should be. You then have to move the text string onto the URL bar at the top for it to be acted upon. If you copy a URL out of an HTML source file it seems to be impossible to paste it into NS. You either have to change the html file into a text file or paste the url into an Edit window and save it from there. |
