Summary | 0002018: Save page/object filename extension | ||
---|---|---|---|
Revision | 2010-12-06 10:57 by Richard Porter | ||
Description | When saving the location of a page or object please could we have the appropriate filename extension i.e. /uri, /url or /txt instead of the /htm, /jpg or whatever. One often wants to save the location with the image and having th filename extensions the same leads to overwriting. I know that RISC OS doesn't bother wil filename extensions but they are good practice and using the wrong extension certainly isn't. I realise too that saving a text location and the text of a page could cause a clash but at lease NS does warn before overwriting. |
