Pencil's implementation relies on rufl when generating drawfiles, so this is not as simple as "just" hiding the types from the public API (which should be a fairly trivial change as the only things exposed are the error code and rufl_style enum). If no text support is required on other platforms, however, it would be reasonable to disable it at build time; if text support is needed though, then pencil would need much the same primitives as exposed by rufl, anyway -- perhaps the less complicated answer would be to implement a minimal version of rufl for the target platform (i.e. using the rufl API as the abstraction layer). |
