To aid searchability, the error message in the attached screenshot is:

> "NetSurf" needs to be updated.

> The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information.

This probably indicates that the app was 32-bit only. macOS Catalina and later require 64-bit apps.

This ticket can probably be closed since https://www.netsurf-browser.org/downloads/macosx/ now returns 404 not found and the NetSurf web site no longer advertises macOS binaries.

Building NetSurf from source for 64-bit works fine on macOS.
