| Description | It's as if the font width is not set correctly for scaled text, so the individual text graphics are cut off prematurely, making them hard to read. Problem does not appear at 100% text zoom. Suspect any non-100% text zoom would be affected to varying degrees. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Reproducibility is 'usually' - I'm seeing it while I fill in this form. It's often OK when you first use a page, but when you resubmit into a form populated with your old search string, then it shows. Set Scale to 150% for text and images ( the all frames checkbox is also ticked but greyed out for me) Start from NetSurf Google search box. Search for junk text khljk325k5lkjk324 or something. When Google search box comes up, add some extra junk text to end of search. Note how extra text glyphs are individually only part-visible. Sometimes they're legible, sometimes not. Have seen this problem intermittently for many builds. Probably has been present since pre 3970 | ||||
| Additional Information | Have also reproduced at 70% text size but it's harder to see. Monospaced text, as in this bug report form, individual letters appear OK but some entire lines appear and disappear. Netsurf Font settings in order: Homerton, Trinitty, Corpus,. Homerton, Sassoon, Sans-serif Default 13.0pt, minimum 9.0pt | ||||
