Summary0002186: About licence broken (NS /mantis/view.php?id=2060)
DescriptionIf you open the about:licence page (from the about window) the whole system stop responding, no way to close the window nor any other NetSurf's windows eventually opened

Even if you force the closure of them with SysMon the system still extremely slow so the only solution is a reboot

I'm using NetSurf 3.1 0002060 (24-Aug-2014)

I can only think this is an out of memory issue. The about:licence button opens a new browser window and all the resources associated with that.
Please check your free video memory before and after pressing the button (add %mg to the WB titlebar) and normal memory too.

Mmm i don't think it could be that as i have 128MB of VRAM (that should be more that enough) ..

Consider that I have the same issue also after a proper reboot so it can't be a memory issue, not to count that in previews nightly i didn't have any kind of problem to open the licence page.

Probably devs change some internals, however still to understand what they changes

Can you track down exactly which build it last worked in?

Problem seems solved in NetSurf release 3.2126 (27-September-2014)

Maybe because this recent fix:

You can close the ticket for now :-)
